If a purchase is made in an online shop certified by Trusted Shops, it is possible to sign up for the Trusted Shops Guarantee via the Trustcard after the purchase has been completed. An automatic activation of the Guarantee without clicking on the corresponding button is technically impossible. After the initial activation, all further purchases in certified online shops are automatically protected.
