How do I add buyer protection to an order retrospectively?
Buyer protection is usually added automatically when you order from a certified shop. In some cases, however, errors or temporary malfunctions may occur. If you have not received a buyer protection confirmation email, you can add your order manually.
To add an order
- Sign in to your Trusted Shops account.
- Go to the “Orders” section.
- Click “Add Order”.
- Select the shop you ordered from.
- Enter your order details and click “Save”.
Important requirement
The shop you ordered from must have an active Trusted Shops seal of approval. Only then can buyer protection be added.
